It's a chance at life again for people. Thank God for JB.
I was there in 2006 for 6 months in patient (Women's) located on Tennessee ave. It definitely was a great program!!!
I cut my teeth on becoming a counselor at John Brooks RC in the 1980's when it was known as IHD. I knew John personally and his legacy lives on. I was young, but the clients were respectful toward me. The staff taught me well. I will always have fond memories of my employment, there. It was more than a job. We were all a family - staff & clients. Like I have read in the reviews, it's not a fancy palace of a rehab. JBRC serves hardcore clients who need hardcore recovery to survive the ravages of addiction. You get out what you put in.
The new building is wonderful! Its more private and i think looks more professional than standing outside of a trailer. Way to go jb you really cleaned up nicely !
I am ecstatic to see the "much needed," new recovery center opening in Pleasantville, NJ!!! Thank you to all involved in this project. I hope to become a part of the John Brooks team, & help fight the cause- "addiction." South Jersey has been in great need of more facilities to treat addiction. It is wonderful to see more support/help available in our area, especially with the national heroine epidemic. Drug & alcohol addiction is everywhere!!! The problem is among all ages, & upon all classes- upper, middle, & lower! Together, we can make a difference! I am a part owner of a referral service, The Jared's Project- of Linwood, NJ. I am compelled to make a difference & save lives, starting in our backyard. Thank you, Gracie
